It all started with a butter dish...
Founded in 1981 by award-winning ceramic designer, Vernon Gay. Devon Ceramics Ltd opened its shop doors for the first time in Torquay, selling hand-painted ceramics to the general public.
Supplying to UK high street retailers soon followed, with commissions for food gifting solutions to businesses abroad shortly afterwards. Fast forward to present day where the business is proudly located at a purpose-built site in the heart of Totnes. Boasting not only a multi-disciplinary creative agency, it is also home to a ceramic and pottery studio, a lifestyle store and cafe plus a new artisan bakery!
If that wasn't impressive enough, located a short distance from our main offices, we have a large 32,000 sq ft storage facility, which manages product assembly, packing and fulfilment.
